Description
Having just finished the latest Pern novel and being a fan since I was in grade school, I had to make a quilt based on Pern. Love the series and the muse voice would just not quiet down. So, here is the panel for my Dragonriders of Pern Quilt with green dragon, the double moons, the Dawn Sisters, and the Red Star.
Pern is of course property of Anne McCaffrey and now written with and by her son, Todd McCaffrey. I take no credit in the creation, just sharing a vision.
The dragon silhouette is from the Xanadu Weyr wiki page if memory serves me right, so that's not mine either, just the template.

Just wanted you to know you've inspired me to make my own Pern quilt! My friend and I are avid fans of the Dragonriders of Pern series and I've been trying to come up with ideas on what to make her! I'll link you to a picture when it's finished, if you like. I've only gotten the first square done.
